Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical) - Our client is seeking an experienced and driven QS to join the team. They are a UK based company specialising in renewable heating and cooling technologies, particularly focused on ground source, water source, and air source heat pump systems.

The Role
* Manage cost control and financial aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring budgets are adhered to and profitability is maintained.
* Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate contracts while identifying and mitigating risks.
* Provide commercial support to project delivery teams, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and process improvements in project delivery.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
* Keep up to date with industry trends and regulations to ensure the company remains competitive in the renewables market.
* Support business development strategies, using commercial insights to drive growth and project success.
Requirements
* Experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally within the renewables, infrastructure, or construction sectors.
* Strong knowledge of contract management, cost control, and project financials.
* Experience with ground source heat technology or similar renewable energy systems is advantageous.
* Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
* A self‑motivated professional with a collaborative approach and a passion for sustainability.
