Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is seeking a Band 6 Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join the Haematology Department. The successful candidate will rotate through laboratory sections, including Automated Haematology and Blood Transfusion, in a high-volume lab handling over 3,000 samples daily.
A valid HCPC registration and IBMS Certificate of Competence are mandatory, while candidates currently completing the Specialist Diploma can apply under Band 5. Applicants should have previous NHS experience.
Fluency in Welsh is desirable, and training opportunities will be provided.
