Summary
* To provide high-quality social work services to adults, ensuring their needs are assessed and met in line with statutory requirements, safeguarding principles, and best practice. The role involves supporting individuals to achieve positive outcomes, promoting independence, and working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults’ needs, risks, and strengths in accordance with legislative frameworks and local policies.
* Develop and implement care plans that promote independence and well-being, ensuring service users are involved in decision-making.
* Manage a caseload effectively, prioritising tasks to meet challenging objectives and deadlines with minimal supervision.
* Undertake safeguarding investigations and interventions to protect vulnerable adults from harm.
* Liaise and collaborate with health professionals, service providers, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated support.
Essential Experience Required
* Proven experience in adult social care, including assessment, care planning, and safeguarding.
* Strong organizational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing demands.
* Experience of working within statutory frameworks and multi-disciplinary environments.
Essential Qualifications Required
* Professional qualification in Social Work (Diploma in Social Work, BA/BSc/MA in Social Work, CQSW) as required by Social Work England.
* Registration with Social Work England.
Additional Information
* Working hours: 30 hours per week
* Enhanced DBS is required for the role.
