Roadside Technician (Field based) providing roadsideassistancefor a national breakdown company with over 15 million members.Great salary, benefits,overtimeand bonus opportunities.Must have right to work in the UK status.Location: HollowayPay / salary: Base: £41,600 (inclusive of LWA) OTE: Up to £66,000Job type: Permanent / Full time roleShift and schedule for the Roadside Technician role40 hours per week between 6am and 12pm, Monday to Sunday. Shifts known 4 months in advance. Flexi overtime at x1.5 and / or optional fixed overtime at £30 per hour.
All hours start and stop fromhome, as soon asyou start the van.Benefits for the for the Roadside Technician roleOvertime 300 overtime hours per year equates to an extra £12,000 per annum.Bonus scheme.23 days plus bank holidays (rising to 25 with service).Up to 6.5% matched pension contributions.Life Insurance cover up to 4x your salary.Access to a broad range of career progression opportunities and industry leading training.Colleague share scheme.Car salary sacrifice scheme? includes electric vehicle options after 12 months.Wellbeing support?24/7.Free breakdown cover for your household.Job Responsibilities for the Roadside Technician roleAttend roadside breakdowns and assess vehicle faults quickly and accurately.Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs at the roadside, including battery replacements, wheel changes, and minor engine fixes.Use diagnostic tools to identify issuesanddeterminerepair options.Provide temporary solutions when full repairisntpossible, ensuring member mobility.Advise members clearly on next steps, including recovery if needed.Work safely and efficiently in varied environments and conditions.Whatyoullneed to a be considered for the Roadside Technician roleMust have a minimum of Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair or ideally Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, orequivalent)Must have a minimum 2-year post-qualification hands on experience with vehicles.
