We are looking for a strong electrical lecturer who can work full time Mon‑Fri 8:30‑4:30 at a college based in Newcastle. This would be a permanent position.
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant Electrical qualification – Electrical Installation / Inspection & Testing / AM2 or equivalent
* Teaching qualification required
* Assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards)
* Internal Verification qualification preferred
* Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive teaching
* Strong industry knowledge and current electrical practices
* Confident using digital learning tools
* Commitment to safeguarding and learner support
* Electrical Installation
* Inspection & Testing
* Maintenance Electricians
* Commercial / Industrial Electrical backgrounds
* Electrical trainers / assessors
* FE college lecturers
* Apprenticeship delivery experience
* Candidates with strong industry experience looking to move into education
