Reception Team Leader – Corporate Front of House

Edinburgh | Monday–Friday | £30,000–£32,500


We are partnering with a highly respected front-of-house provider that prides itself on delivering an exceptional, personalised welcome for every guest. Supporting a major financial institution in the heart of Edinburgh, they are now seeking an engaging and motivating Reception Team Leader to inspire their corporate welcome team and elevate the overall guest experience.

The Role


As Reception Team Leader, you will act as the face of a high-profile banking environment while providing hands-on leadership to a dedicated front-of-house team. You will ensure every visitor, client, and stakeholder receives a warm, seamless, five-star welcome.


Key Responsibilities:


* Hands-on line management and development of the reception team
* Managing attendance, performance, and overall team engagement
* Leading induction and probation to ensure new starters thrive
* Creating, reviewing, and embedding SOPs across the team
* Overseeing front desk operations and visitor arrivals
* Delivering a polished, professional, non-transactional guest experience
* Handling calls and enquiries with confidence and professionalism
* Supporting meeting room, events, and guest coordination
* Working collaboratively with building security and facilities teams
* Ensuring immaculate presentation of all front-of-house spaces


What We’re Looking For


* Proven experience managing, coaching, and developing a team
* A confident, inspiring leader with strong communication skills
* High attention to detail and consistent follow-through on actions
* Positive energy, enthusiasm, and a naturally engaging approach
* Previous experience in 5-star corporate reception, hospitality, or customer-facing roles (e.g., hotels, private clubs, airlines, or high-end restaurants)
* Someone proactive, polished, and able to thrive in a professional, fast-paced environment
