Job Description:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Construction Supervisor - Onshore Landfall Representative (contract). The role will be working at the Redcar site office on an energy transition project as part of an IPMT team.
The Role
As the Onshore Landfall Representative, you will be responsible for planning and executing the onshore scopes (landfall, outlet facility, and onshore pipeline) within the offshore project.
The working hours will be up to 7 days a week, 12-hour days, with a rotation/leave schedule to be agreed.

Expected:
* Extensive experience in onshore/offshore construction, especially landfalls, overland pipelines, and above-ground facilities
* Experience overseeing on-site contractors
* Ability to develop good working relationships with contractors and personnel, and to facilitate collaborative problem solving
* Excellent communication skills to represent the project professionally with third parties and stakeholders
* Knowledge of pipeline and piping welding and NDE techniques
Scope of Work requirements:
* Knowledge of landfall techniques, including tunnel boring, horizontal directional drilling, pipeline stringing and welding, sheet piling, cofferdam construction, mechanical equipment installation, pipeline construction, pig receiver/launcher installation, pre-commissioning, and hydrostatic testing
