Salary: £36,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for an experienced SCADA Architect, Lead SCADA Engineer or Senior SCADA Engineer. We need strong experience in energy, utilities, electricity transmission or distribution environments. We require hands-on experience with one or more of the following: ADMS, EMS or DERMS. We need a strong understanding of Distribution Management Systems (DMS). We require experience delivering telemetry and remote monitoring solutions. We need knowledge of OT environments and industrial control systems. We require experience integrating RTUs, substations and field devices. We need familiarity with industry protocols including IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-101/104, DNP3 and OPC. We need understanding of network control centre operations and smart grid technologies. We value experience with renewable energy integration, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), distributed energy resources, flexibility markets and OT cyber security programmes. Experience with platforms such as Siemens Spectrum Power, Schneider Electric ADMS, GE PowerOn, OSI Monarch, Hitachi Energy Network Manager or ABB Network Manager is desirable. Responsibilities: We design, develop and support enterprise-scale SCADA architectures and solutions. We lead the integration of SCADA platforms with ADMS, EMS and DERMS environments. We deliver real-time telemetry, monitoring and control capabilities across operational networks. We support Distribution Management Systems (DMS) and Network Management Systems (NMS) initiatives. We define and implement OT communications strategies, including RTU and substation integrations. We collaborate with operational, engineering and technology teams to improve network visibility and resilience. We support smart grid, renewable integration and grid modernisation programmes. We provide technical leadership across SCADA and OT workstreams. We ensure compliance with industry standards, cyber security requirements and best practices.
