The Role As a Family Coordinator, you will provide practical and emotional support to children, young people, and families. Youll lead the Team Around the Family (TAF) process, ensuring that support plans are coordinated, effective, and focused on creating sustainable positive outcomes. Your role will centre on strengthening family relationships, promoting resilience, and safeguarding children to ensure they thrive. What You Will Do Deliver direct, tailored support to children, young people, and families. Undertake whole-family assessments and develop outcome-based support plans. Lead and coordinate TAF meetings, liaising effectively with multi-agency partners. Identify and act upon safeguarding concerns, adhering to statutory policies and procedures. Use trauma-informed and strength-based approaches to promote engagement and empowerment. Maintain accurate case records and produce high-quality reports for reviews and meetings. Work flexibly across the East Riding of Yorkshire area, including some evenings and weekends. Requirements Level 3 qualification or higher in Early Years, Childcare, Education, Health, or Social Care. Experience working directly with children, young people, or families in early help or support services. Strong understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and information-sharing principles. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multi-agency partners. Commitment to family-centred and trauma-informed practice. Flexibility to travel and respond to service needs.
