Job Title – Software Programme Manager
Position Summary
Taylor Hobson manufactures PC based ultra precision metrology systems for a broad range of markets globally. Our evolving software platforms emphasize making complex operations easy to use through UI design, fast analysis algorithms, user programming and automation. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Software Manager to lead talented teams in UK, India and Germany and further develop our platforms through technology, people and process.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering robust and performant software applications for users of Taylor Hobson metrology instruments. The applications provide a rich UI allowing visualization of instrument and the part to be measured, user created guided sequences, ISO standard analysis and desk top publishing for results.
* Managing a team of software developers and testers in UK and India, including contractors.
* Project management and full SDLC.
* Able to productively interact with a multi-disciplined team, including electronic, mechanical and evaluation engineers, project and product managers, and senior management.
* Travel to Germany and India essential
