Staff work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive both academically and emotionally.
Your New JobAs a part-time Maths & English Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to small groups of students across Key Stages 2–4. You will be supported by experienced teaching assistants and will work closely with the SENCO and wider support team to ensure that each pupil’s individual needs are met. This is a temporary position initially, with a strong likelihood of bing permanent for the right candidate. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Planning and delivering engaging Maths and English lessons tailored to individual learning profiles.
2. Using a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform planning.
3. Supporting pupils in developing confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
4. Contributing to the development of personalised learning plans and EHCP reviews.
5. Creating a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
What You'll Need to SucceedTo be considered for this role, you will need:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
7. Experience teaching Maths and/or English, ideally in an SEN or alternative provision setting.
8. A strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and behaviour management.
9. A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching.
10. Excellentmunication and teamwork skills.
