Role Overview

Location: Brighton & Hove, in‑office (option to work one day from home per week)

Working hours: 9am‑5:30pm, Monday – Friday

Experience: At least 1 year in content marketing roles

Salary:£25,000 p/a

We are looking for a highly organised, detail‑oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team. Your mission is to own the essential “in‑the‑weeds” tasks that keep our marketing engine running. This execution‑heavy role is measured by timely delivery and completion of tasks. By taking ownership of webinar coordination, web content maintenance, email creation, course listing updates, and daily communications, you will enable the senior team to focus on high‑level strategy and content production.


Key Areas of Responsibility

* Website & Content Maintenance – maintain a high‑trust, high‑performance web presence through manual updates.
* Site Tweaks – execute mass page updates (e.g., updating banners, removing outdated widgets, rolling out CTA text from A/B testing, ensuring consistent terminology across the site).
* Content Freshness – assist in rolling out content updates to improve SEO “freshness” and user trust.
* Partner Course Listings – manage and update course listings on partner sites to test and boost performance, based on guidance from the Sales Enablement executive.
* New Content Ideation and Creation – write short, punchy blogs on sector‑relevant reports, statistics, and news events; participate in weekly content stand‑ups to agree on topics and angles.
* Content Trend Analysis – use Google Trends to identify trending topics relevant to our brand’s content pillars and provide suggestions for the content stand‑up.
* Email Creation and Mass Updates – support the rollout of quarterly sales email campaigns, updating images and copy across 100+ email assets; create emails for external communications with prospect and student/alumni databases.
* Community & Inbox Management – act as the first point of contact for social media channels and marketing inboxes, ensuring timely and professional responses to all inquiries.
* Webinar & Event Coordination – manage guest coordination, calendar scheduling, promotion via email invites, reporting from Zoom and other platforms, and follow‑up communications.

* Motivated by Marketing – you are keen and ambitious when progressing your career in marketing.


Requirements

* At least one year of prior experience in a marketing team, including volunteer, intern, or part‑time roles.
* Strong written communication skills for email, social media responses, and content creation in our brand tone of voice.
* Ability to take initiative and work autonomously.
* A good eye for visual design and experience with Zoom, CMS systems, email builders, and CRM platforms is a significant plus.
