As a Senior Buyer, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering commercial value, mitigating supply risks, and embedding ESG goals through strategic procurement. Working closely with Procurement leadership and key business stakeholders, you’ll manage the end-to-end procurement process across key categories - balancing cost savings, quality, service, and sustainability.

Interested? Take a look below to understand what you’ll be doing as Senior Buyer:
1. Lead (with support) on the 5-step Evri category management process for designated spend areas.
2. Develop strategies that deliver Total Cost of Ownership improvements, cash flow benefits, and ESG enhancements.
3. Become the subject matter expert for your categories, building deep knowledge of the market, commercial models, and supplier dynamics.
4. Own critical financial and commercial analysis, including cost baselines, bid evaluation, and savings modelling.
5. Design and execute negotiation strategies with suppliers.
6. Lead on contract negotiation and manage supplier agreements by working with legal and senior procurement stakeholders.
7. Implement and manage EVRi’s standard commercial terms.
8. Monitor and manage supplier performance across your categories.
9. Act as the point of escalation for contract issues, cost variations, or performance concerns.
10. Partner with Finance to manage in-contract costs and support continuous performance improvement.
11. Independently manage your procurement initiatives and improvement projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality execution.

12. Degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain, Business, STEM – or equivalent practical experience and CIPS Level 2/3 (or working towards) is advantageous.
13. 2–3 years' experience as a Buyer or in a similar commercial role.
14. Proven track record of delivering commercial value through procurement.
15. Knowledge of procurement levers, cost management, and budgetary influence.
16. Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
17. Commercial acumen, with awareness of cash flow, CAPEX/OPEX and financial accounting.
18. Strong initiative, resilience, and a passion for continuous improvement.
