Management Accountant - up to £45,000 + Study Support | Hybrid (Chorley)

We're working with a well-established local organisation with a strong community focus based in Chorley who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to take ownership of month end processes, acting as a senior member of the team within the chorley site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on finance role within a collaborative team, where your input and analysis will genuinely influence decision-making.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of Finance, you'll take the lead on day-to-day finance activity and act as the go-to person on-site for the transactional team. You'll be responsible for:
1. Producing accurate monthly management accounts and supporting reports
2. Maintaining the ledger structure, cost centres, and nominal codes
3. Supporting and guiding two transactional team members on-site
4. Providing meaningful analysis and insight for senior management
5. Working with large data sets to review and analyse sales performance
6. Preparing month-end journals including prepayments, accruals, and deferred income
7. Assisting with cash flow and financial forecasting
