Job Description
The Teamcenter Migration Professional will work collaboratively with Customers and with the Quest Global PLM team to prepare data mappings, carry out data profiling, support data preparation and cleansing, configure migration scripts, support migration testing and optimisation, assist with go-live planning, execute production migrations, and provide post- migration support.
You will have five years of Teamcenter deployment and migration experience. You will be willing to travel to UK customers, be self-motivated, and have good verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end Teamcenter migration projects including planning, analysis, design, execution, and validation.
Analyse legacy PLM /ERP/CAD data sources to help define migration scope, strategy, and approach.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to capture data mapping requirements (including transformation rules).
Develop, configure, execute, and optimise Extract-Transform-Load scripts .
Support migration planning activities.
Familiarity with Informatica or Pentaho would be advantageous.
Execute migrations, carry out validation checks, and prepare status reports .
Communicate data cleansing recommendations to stakeholders.
Support go-live cutover and provide hyper care for post- migration stabilization.
Work Experience Mandatory experience
Should have a played a technical lead role or higher in major migrations that involve both metadata, CAD data, and documents. Preference would be given for experience in migrating Solid Edge data.
Candidate should be familiar with PLMXML and IPS Data Upload utilities.
Ability to code against ITK libraries to create custom migration tools would be advantageous.
