Estates Technician — Temporary / Hourly‑Paid Role Location: North Wales, Denbighshire (further education college campus) Pay Rate: Competitive (hourly, PAYE) About the Role We are working with an FE college in Denbighshire that is looking to recruit an Estates Technician to support the safety, security, and maintenance of its campus facilities. This is a hands‑on, practical role. As Estates Technician, your responsibilities will include: Conducting regular security patrols and lock checks — ensuring buildings are secure and safe Carrying out fire and first-aid checks, and general safety inspections Performing general maintenance work, such as minor repairs, moving furniture, and basic upkeep across campus buildings and grounds Assisting with facility set‑ups and moving equipment or furniture as needed Supporting any additional caretaking duties required to maintain a clean, safe, accessible campus environment Typical working hours are Monday to Thursday (08:30–16:30) and Friday (08:30–16:00). The initial assignment is for approximately 3 months, with the possibility of extension depending on need. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential, as the role may require travel around campus sites and external visits.
