Key Responsibilities
* Your main responsibilities will include quoting prices, taking orders and processing them through to completion, with the aim of increasing our customer base through pro‑active business development
* You will liaise with the hire desk team and support our depot network and transport team to ensure that we exceed customer expectations and agreed service levels
* With specific responsibility for one of our depots you will be required to develop strong relationships with our customers and our internal colleagues
* This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast‑growing company and work with some of the key players in the construction and house building industries
What We’re Looking For
* Meticulous attention to detail and understanding of the importance of this – Essential
* Excellent customer service skills and a confident telephone manner – Essential
* Ability to communicate via email with good use of language
* Good understanding of customer requirements
* Ability to convert conversations in to business opportunities
* Good use and experience of using various IT systems
* Knowledge of equipment – Desirable
* Experience of logistics/planning – Desirable
