Manual TurnerLong Eaton, NG10Circa £18.50ph (Dependent on Experience)Days RegularBenefits:29 days holidayContractual profit-sharing schemeSupportive and forward-thinking working environmentCareer development opportunities as the business continues to expandMetalis are currently working in partnership with a precision engineering company and are looking to recruit an experienced Manual Turner on a permanent basis due to continued growth and expansion.This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking business that values its employees, offers genuine career development opportunities, and rewards success through a contractual profit-sharing scheme.Job Duties:Setting and operating manual turning machines to manufacture precision components to specificationWorking from engineering drawings and technical instructionsProducing high-quality components to tight tolerancesInspecting finished components using measuring equipment to ensure accuracyCarrying out machine adjustments and basic maintenance as requiredEnsuring all work is completed in line with quality and health & safety standardsMaintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work areaWorking collaboratively as part of a skilled engineering teamJob Requirements:Previous experience operating manual turning machinery essentialAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience working to tight tolerances within a precision engineering environmentConfident using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and gaugesStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPositive attitude and willingness to contribute to a growing businessShifts & Salary:40 hours per week (typically 7:00am 3:30pm, with flexibility)Many team members currently work 6:30am 3:30pm Monday to ThursdayEarly finish on Fridays (typically 6:30am 12:30pm)Circa £18.50 per hour (dependent on experience)This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manual Turner looking to secure a long-term position within a growing and progressive company.If this is something you feel suited for and would like to know more, please apply today and well be in touch.TPBN1_UKTJ
