As a Digital Tutor, you will design and deliver engaging, high-quality online training for learners enrolled in Digital Bootcamps, with a focus on areas such as Cyber Security and Cloud-Based Software. You will guide and support learners throughout their journey, helping them build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to achieve their goals and successfully complete end-point assessments.
You will play an active role in improving course content and enhancing the learner experience, ensuring that all materials meet company standards and reflect industry best practices.
This position requires a strong understanding of qualification frameworks and modern training methodologies. You will ensure that content is structured to achieve defined learning outcomes, supports assessment criteria, and promotes effective learner progression. Your work will have a direct impact on the quality and relevance of our digital learning solutions, enabling learners to gain recognised qualifications through accessible and innovative formats.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
* Deliver live online training sessions for Digital bootcamps aligned to qualification standards
* Provide academic and pastoral support to learners throughout their qualification
* Develop and adapt learning materials to suit diverse learner needs and delivery formats
* Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
* Prepare learners for exams and support them through the assessment process
* Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, engagement, and outcomes
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality assurance and compliance with awarding body requirements
* Contribute to curriculum development and course reviews
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Stay informed on emerging trends in digital education and technology, applying relevant innovations to enhance qualification delivery.
* Work closely with technical teams to ensure digital learning platforms are accessible, reliable, and fit for purpose.
* Advocate for digital literacy and the ethical use of technology in learning environments.
* Champion the transformative impact of digital learning and accredited qualifications within Aspire 2Be and external stakeholders.

Essential Criteria
* Recognised teaching or training qualification (e.g., PTLLS, AET, CertEd, or equivalent)
* Proven experience delivering online training in digital or IT subjects
* Subject matter expertise in following areas:
* Scrum, Kanban, Lean principles, and iterative development practices
* Enterprise/solution architecture including business, data, application, and technology architecture; TOGAF or similar frameworks
* Information security and governance including risk management, governance, compliance, and security controls.
* Cyber Security
* Cloud based software
* Strong understanding of qualification frameworks and assessment methods
* Excellent communication and digital facilitation skills
* Ability to adapt teaching to suit different learning styles and levels
* Confident using virtual learning environments and digital tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom, Moodle)
* Demonstrable experience and evidence of creating engaging eLearning content
* Demonstrable experience of training/skills delivery
* Experience working in IT solutions
* Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
* Strong administration ability with a keen eye for detail
* Highly organised and punctual
* Ability to react flexibly under pressure and to work to tight deadlines
* Full driving licence, willing to travel.
Desirable Criteria
* Previous experience in delivering digital programmes via Bootcamps or Adult Skills Funding
* EWC registered
* TAQA Level 3 or equivalent
* Certifications in relevant areas e.g. Certified Trainer Status (Google/Microsoft/Apple)
* Knowledge of Work Based Learning operating model
* BCS-accredited trainer status
* Welsh speaker
