Driver Hire Sudbury are currently recruiting for Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our team.
Our clients are based across the CO postcode; Sudbury, Halstead. They require drivers to cover busy periods, sickness and holiday.

What We Offer
1. Minimum pay 0f £16.25 – £20.00 p/h for weekday, day shifts
2. Weekly pay, Overtime opportunities
3. Minimum of 8hrs pay per shift

8. Higher pay for Moffett, HIAB, Nights and weekends
Requirements:
9. Must have your own transport to travel to and from work.
10. Valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Cat C) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
11. No More then 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or similar endorsements).
12. Must have appropriate PPE, including steel toe cap boots (Hi-Vis provided by Driver Hire).
13. Must be able to work with both paper-based and PDA-based delivery systems.
14. 2 yrs experience preferred but not essential
Job Details:
15. Start times vary between 04:00 and 07:00 AM.
16. Varied work in a variety of vehicles e.g
17. Trunking, General haulage, Curtain siders, Flat bed, Refrigerated trailers, Builders merchants ETC
18. Local and regional deliveries
19. Completing vehicle checks and ensuring full compliance with tachograph and driving regulations
20. Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach

23. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
24. Flexible and able to adapt to different routes and delivery schedules.
