Continence Nurse Advisor - Adults

We are seeking a dedicated, caring, compassionate & highly motivated Continence Nurse Advisor (band 6) to join our Community Nursing Team. Applications are welcomed from nurses who have 2 or more years' experience post qualification and previous roles working as a community nurse will be advantageous.
The Community Nursing Service aims to provide an excellent standard of person centred planned and unplanned nursing intervention to patients in their homes and is part of an integrated service that supports patients to remain in their home environment. As a County Wide Community Nurse you will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team including GPs, Practice Nurses and Specialist Nurses in order to support the service delivery having a high focus on quality outcomes and improving the patient experience.
Qualifications
* Registered General Nurse - NMC
* Independent Nurse prescribing qualification would be desirable
Knowledge & Experience
* Evidence of CPD
* Previous experience in a primary care/community setting
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Time Management Skills
* Be able to work on own initiative
* Evidence of working at Band 6 level
* Previous experience in working in a continence specialist service
* Previous experience of staff managementExperience of using SystmOne
