About the Role Our client is seeking a proactive and highly organised Conveyancing Assistant to join their Real Estate team in Leeds. Working closely with a Senior Fee Earner, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient progression of commercial conveyancing matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous conveyancing support experience who is looking to develop their skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties via phone, email, and occasionally face to face
Request and chase documentation including ID, mortgage offers, and property searches
Maintain accurate, up-to-date information in the case management system and relevant third-party portals
Provide an excellent level of service to clients and introducers at all times
Prepare legal documentation required throughout the conveyancing process
Assist with preparing completion packs, including completion statements and invoices
Support with all post-exchange and completion matters
Manage completions on the day of completion
Ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures
Carry out additional administrative tasks as required to support the team

Strong administrative skills within a professional office environment
Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Confident telephone manner and strong communication skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Team player with a collaborative approach
Experience using case management systems
Experience Required
Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant within a Conveyancing department is essential
