Park Day Nursery and Pre-School Ltd are looking for someone who is highly motivated to join our friendly team. You will be helping to provide a caring environment for children which meets their physical, intellectual, emotional and social developmental needs.
You will be helping to assist in providing a challenging and stimulating environment for the children, having close regard to the EYFS when planning for each child.
Hours and days can be negotiable.
Promoting the Nursery
* Communication and working in partnership with families and carers to facilitate and support children's learning.
Care and Education
* To support the implementation of the curriculum in line with the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Ofsted registration and inspection criteria.
* Helping to organise and develop the nursery learning environment and resources in your base room, in order to facilitate the learning process.
* To support the nursery in its delivery of the EYFS.
* Ensuring records of progress are maintained.
* Maintain effective planning, assessment and record keeping.
* Ensure parents/carer are kept fully informed and included in record keeping, monitoring and reviewing the progress of their child.
* Promote the use of informed observation and other strategies to monitor children's activities, development and progress systematically and carefully use this information to inform, plan and improve practice and provision.
* Organising, preparing and using a wide range of resources suitable for children's ages, interests and abilities taking into account of diversity and promoting equality and inclusion.
* Promote children's rights, equality, inclusion and anti-discriminatory practice in all aspects.
