Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Salary and Benefits: £26k - £35k + company vehicle, overtime, training, pension scheme and annual leave.
Due to recently winning new contracts in the North West of England, our client is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team. You will be performing a wide variety of ACOP L8 compliance duties, working across a range of commercial and local authority premises. It is essential that applicants can demonstrate strong hands‑on experience and will be able to hit the ground running. Our client is a highly respected name within the industry, who has a nationwide presence.

Experience & Qualifications
* Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
* Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
* Ideally completed industry-related training courses (e.g., Legionella Awareness, TMV Servicing, Cleans and Disinfections)
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
* Proficient in using IT software
* Strong communication skills
Role Responsibilities
* TMV servicing
* Cleans and disinfections on cooling towers and cold water storage tanks
* Closed system sampling and dosing
* Outlet descales and basic flushing
* Showerhead disinfections
* Calorifier inspections
* Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
* Updating site logbooks
* Working to agreed deadlines
