The must haves
* Demonstrable success in B2B sales within Telco or IT, especially in identifying and closing large, complex sales opportunities.
* A proven track record of opening up new business within Central Government/Whitehall (essential).
* Proven experience of leading cross‑functional teams to manage complex bids and progress opportunities through the business approval process, in conjunction with Commercial & Finance colleagues, to develop business cases and justify CAPEX / OPEX spend & resource allocation.
* Demonstrable experience working with Contracts (interpreting and writing) combined with strong experience of managing negotiations and closing £2m‑£10m contract agreements.
* Proven ability to accurately report sales forecasts using CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.

* Complex solution selling & commercial foresight – a proven consultative sales approach that aligns with customer needs while maximizing revenue potential.
