Lead Electrical Project Manager - UK
Remote, with occasional travel
I am working closely with a leading energy company to find a Lead Engineering Project Manager to head up their in-house team covering their sites across the UK.
This is to replace the current Lead Engineer who will be retiring later this year, so as to facilitate a smooth handover period.
I am keen to hear from engineers with previous project management experience involving various forms of power generation such as diesel engine, gas turbine, etc.
Applicants will need to have distribution experience with delivery to the National Grid and business customers.
You should have technical knowledge and experience of transformers and switchgear, ideally some design but not essential, as you will be the highest authority in the company whilst also seeking external expertise for support when necessary.
Finally, you will also need to be able to demonstrate operational experience in prioritising, scheduling and delivering maintenance, taking a proactive approach to asset monitoring, and managing risks.
In return, you will receive an attractive salary and benefits package, ability to work from home (with occasional travel to sites), and the opportunity to directly influence the activities of one of the UK's fastest growing energy companies.
More information available upon application.
