Quantity surveyor / senior quantity surveyor

Deanston Cooper is currently recruiting for aQuantity Surveyor orSeniorQuantity Surveyorto workfor an exceptionally busy and highly regard Civil Engineering contractor based in Bellshill. The role will be working in a new strategic business division focussing on the delivery of Scottish Power Transmission projects as part of a long term framework. As such it offers the opportunity to contribute to the business growth and for near term career progression.

As Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor your duties will include:

1. To liaise with senior management and advise on all matters relating to Contract and Commercial issues.
2. To maintain accurate financial control systems and report monthly on Cost/Value Reconciliation.
3. To liaise with and advise on all financial aspects of contracts, ensuring that valuations are maximised, certified and paid on time.
4. To monitor progress on site and take a lead issuing required notices in accordance with contract procedures and timescales.
5.
