With a commitment to excellence and a dedication to customer satisfaction, we are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 T Driver to join our team.
Position Overview
As a Cat C1 you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their DIY products on time and in perfect condition. You will be responsible for both commercial and domestic deliveries, using your driving skills and exceptional customer service to represent the company in a positive light.
Pay Rates
Monday to Friday- £14
Saturday - £21
Sunday - £28
Key Responsibilities
-Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
- Load and unload DIY products onto the vehicle with the help of a porter, ensuring secure and organised transport.
-Plan delivery routes efficiently to maximise productivity and minimise delays.
- Provide outstanding customer service during product deliveries, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
-Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
-Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate department.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to organise product loading and stock management.
-Maintain a clean and organised vehicle, conducting regular safety checks.
Qualifications
-Valid 7.5T driving license (C1 category) with CPC qualification.
-Previous experience as a 7.5T driver, preferably in a delivery role.
-Knowledge of local road networks and routes.
-Strong organisational and time-management skills.
-Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
-Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and manual tasks.
