Job Description
Chronicle Heritage Arabia is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Copy Editor to support our Reporting Team remotely. This role involves editing and formatting deliverables for archaeological and cultural heritage projects based in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality reports meeting regulatory and client standards, including editing reports related to archaeological monitoring, clearance, surveys, trenching, excavation, and heritage impact assessments.
Key Responsibilities
* Copy edit and format technical reports and documentation for:
* Archaeological monitoring and clearance
* Pedestrian surveys and trenching
* Excavation reports
* Heritage impact assessments
* Other cultural heritage deliverables
Ensure quality control by adhering to project timelines, regulatory frameworks, and the company's internal style guide. Collaborate with team members across disciplines to meet project goals and deadlines. Utilize tools such as QorusDocs, Sage Intacct, Teamwork, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Hire Type: Full-time, hourly
* Location: Remote
* Schedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on projects
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
* At least 2 years of copy editing experience, preferably in a professional or technical setting
* Exceptional command of English (reading, writing, speaking)
* Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Background in archaeology, anthropology, history, or related fields
* Experience editing archaeological or cultural heritage documents
* Proficiency in Arabic (written and spoken)
* Familiarity with InDesign, QorusDocs, Teamwork, and other project management tools
* Experience working across multiple time zones, especially with teams in the US and Middle East
