Post Title: Specialist Physiotherapist
Location: Whyteman’s Brae Hospital, Kirkcaldy, Community Rehabilitation Team
Salary/Banding: Band 6
Hours: 1.0 WTE (36hrs)
We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Team.
Responsibilities
* Assess and treat adults, primarily older people, in their homes or outpatient settings.
* Support community rehabilitation, prevent unnecessary hospital admission, and enable patients to remain independent.
* Provide regular supervision, PDP and training support to junior staff.
* Work across community hospital sites as required.
* Travel throughout the area as part of a community‑based post.
* Participate in public holiday work (Christmas Day and New Year’s Day).
Qualifications
* Degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the HCPC.
* Experience working with adults, especially older people, within the NHS.
* Evidence of continuous professional development, audit and service development.
* Experience supervising junior staff at Band 6 level.
* Certificate of right to work in the UK (or visa) as required.
