Job Purpose
* To support the Manager in aspects of appropriate service provision- ensuring policies and procedures, codes of conduct and practice, and all relevant legislation are adhered to.
* To assess, plan, deliver and evaluate resident physiotherapy care in order to maintain or improve current physical abilities whilst promoting the residents privacy, dignity, independence and choice.
* To liaise with outside agencies to ensure that the resident receives the best available treatment and input relative to their needs.
Care Management
* To maintain a high standard of care and ensure a positive environment and atmosphere are promoted within the Home at all times.
* To be responsible for ensuring each resident has an on-going assessment of their physical abilities with an agreed plan formulated detailing identified goals, interventions required and associated risks involved.
* Evaluation and review of exercise plans are to be performed in line with company policy, with adjustments made as necessary to reflect any changes in the residents condition and needs.
