Painter/DecoratorHours: Monday-Thursday 8am-4:45pm; Friday 8am-4:30pmPay: £18.99 p/hStart date: 22nd June - 18th September 2026Location: KeelePainters are responsible for site preparation, colour matching, surface preparation and applying paint and other finishes to walls, ceilings, furniture and other surfaces. Additional duties and responsibilities include:Working with clients to ensure they complete the work according to the requirementsMeasuring the work area to calculate the time and materials required to complete the projectPreparing the surrounding area, including covering fixtures and furniture to prevent messesPreparing painting surfaces, including removing old paint, filling holes and cracks and washing wallsChoosing the tools to complete the jobMixing and matching paints and colours to meet the texture and look required for the projectApplying paint, varnishing and other finishes, hanging wallpapers and other decorative productsCleaning up painting tools and supplies, replacing fixtures and rearranging furniture after completing the projectCollaborating with painters on other larger jobsWorking with other construction professionals such as, carpenters, electricians and plumbers when necessaryRequirementsProven experience as a Painter/DecoratorAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and high-quality workmanshipGood time management and organisational skillsOwn tools preferred (if applicable)CSCS card (preferred/required if relevant - adjust as needed)Please apply online by clicking APPLY today, we will be in touch to discuss your application within 48 working hours.Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.TPBN1_UKTJ
