About The Role
Reporting directly to the Bids & Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for providing vital support to the Bid and Contracts Team, ensuring smooth operations through efficient administration of contracts, data, and reporting. You will coordinate contractual documentation, maintain records, and prepare reports to support the timely submission of bids. This is an entry‑level opportunity for someone looking to change careers and grow their skills in a supportive and fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the timely creation and maintenance of various commercial files.
* Maintain and update data spreadsheets and online databases.
* Provide general administrative support for the Bid and Contracts Team.
* Coordinate amendments, renewals, and extensions of existing contracts, working with the Contracts Manager to ensure changes are properly reviewed, documented and communicated to relevant parties.
* Provide cross‑cover support for monitoring online tender portals, bid inboxes and related tasks.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Proven ability to follow a schedule of work accurately.
* Understanding of the health and social care sector (desirable but not essential).
* Strong Excel skills and confidence with IT systems.
* Flexible, can‑do attitude and ability to adapt to changing demands.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Collaborative mindset and willingness to support the wider team.
