Overview
Achieve Together is seeking a Head of Maintenance to lead the maintenance operations for a 3‑6 month contract with potential extension to permanent. The role is hybrid, with 2/3 days office based and site visits across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Oversee all maintenance operations, including planning, scheduling, and executing repairs and preventative maintenance.
* Direct and mentor a maintenance team, ensuring skill, motivation, and capability.
* Develop and implement maintenance plans, budgets, and schedules to minimise downtime.
* Manage routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs.
* Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including resource allocation, cost forecasting, and contract negotiations.
* Collaborate with the New Development Team to ensure new‑build properties comply with building regulations, accessibility specifications, and health and safety requirements.
Qualifications
* Experience planning, scheduling, and executing preventative maintenance programs and managing reactive repairs.
* Experience managing budgets, allocating resources, and supporting the Head of Procurement in negotiating vendor contracts.
* Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and compliance standards related to maintenance activities.
