SEN Learning Support Practitioner (LSP/ LSA) - Nursery School - St AlbansFull-Time | 5 Days Per Week | £95 - £115 per day
Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming Nursery School in St Albans who are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.
This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support for a child with physical disabilities and learning impairments, helping them to access learning, develop communication skills, and feel fully supported within the nursery environment.
The Role:
* Full-time position - Monday to Friday
* Supporting a nursery-aged child on a 1:1 basis
* Assisting with mobility and personal care where required
* Supporting learning, engagement, and social development
* Working closely with nursery staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
* Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN
* A caring, patient, and proactive approach
* Experience working with physical disabilities and learning impairments (desirable)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A passion for supporting early years education
