Duties
* Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised.
* Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly after use.
* Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking as required.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
* Help with stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times within the kitchen environment.
* Assist in serving meals when necessary, providing excellent hospitality to guests.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with an ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* A keen interest in culinary arts and hospitality is highly desirable.
* Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning from others.
