An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned interim Finance Business Partner with a background in the public sector to join a finance team in Colchester.
Responsibilities include:
* Provide financial insight to senior leadership team to drive efficiency and change
* Business partner with stakeholders on financial performance and analysis
* Deliver high quality management information using predictive analysis and financial modelling
* Support with creation of cross-functional team projects
* Collaborate with finance colleagues on company policies aligned with strategic goals and continuous improvement
* Assess business costs and risks
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations
The ideal candidate:
* Must be qualified accountant (ideally CIMA)
* Must have experience working in the public sector
* Proven track record in improving financial systems and driving performance
* Experience providing financial advice to inform strategic decisions
* Proficient analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial results for the business
* Proven track record in building strong relationships with internal teams to influence stakeholders
The client is offering hybrid work and £400-£450pd.
