Role Overview
We are looking for an Accountant on an initial 6‑month FTC to join our finance team, with an opportunity to transition to a permanent position as the team evolves.
This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who enjoys diving into core finance processes while supporting a team through change.
Key Responsibilities
* Support with statutory accounts preparation
* Assist in responding to audit queries
* Review and approve payments
* Prepare and post month‑end journals
* Complete balance sheet reconciliations
* Assist with month‑end reporting
* Perform bank reconciliations and update cash flow actuals
* Provide fixed asset support
* Support a finance system upgrade project, including testing
About You
* Experience in a similar Accountant / Finance role
* Strong understanding of month‑end processes
* Confident working with reconciliations and journals
* Comfortable supporting audits and statutory reporting
* Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently
* Experience with system implementations or upgrades is a bonus
