About the Role :
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Senior IFA Administrator to join a well-established and growing financial planning firm. Working as part of a small, close-knit team, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a Chartered Financial Planner and ensuring a smooth and compliant client journey.
This is a varied and hands-on administrative role that would suit a highly organised and confident individual with a strong background in IFA or wealth management support. While this role does not offer progression to an adviser position, it could be an excellent fit for someone seeking long-term stability in a senior support capacity or someone looking to develop toward a paraplanning role over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Financial Adviser/Director
Prepare and process new business applications, letters of authority, and client documentation
Manage client reviews, maintaining accurate records and diary reminders
Liaise with providers and clients to ensure timely and accurate processing of requests
Maintain and update internal systems and client records
Assist with compliance and regulatory documentation as required
Support the wider team with general administrative duties
Requirements :
Minimum 3 years of experience in an IFA or wealth management administration role
Excellent knowledge of financial planning processes, products, and terminology
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
Professional, personable, and confident when dealing with clients and providers
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
