Description Are you experienced in secured lending and are a passionate leader? Then you found the right position for you! As an Originator - Asset Based Lending - Vice President within J.P. Morgan's Asset Based Lending Group (ABL), you will be at the forefront of developing and sustaining profitable relationships within our Global Corporate Bank. This role is crucial in driving the origination, structuring, and execution of asset-based loans tailored for mid-cap and large-cap companies headquartered in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. These loans are designed to support a variety of corporate event-driven scenarios, providing strategic financial solutions to our clients. Your responsibilities will include marketing ABL's international capabilities to both internal and external parties across these regions, showcasing the group's expertise and extensive network. You will lead the preparation of pitch materials to support new business mandates, manage pipelines, and assist in the execution of transactions both pre- and post-mandate. This involves pitching cross-border transactions to prospects and existing ABL clients, as well as preparing and negotiating term sheets and commitment papers to support transactions. You will also be responsible for executing closing credit and security documentation, ensuring that all aspects of the transaction are meticulously managed. Job responsibilities Market ABL international capabilities to internal and external parties in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific Take a lead role in preparation of pitch material to support new business mandates, pipeline management and assist execution in the pre and post-mandate aspects of transactions Complete pitch cross-border transactions to prospects and existing ABL clients Take a lead role in preparing, negotiating term sheets and commitment papers to support the transaction and post-mandate structure and execute closing credit and security documentation Promote a strong control environment by adhering to risk / control procedures and protocol. Operates within established risk parameters and meets risk compliance obligations Holds self and others to the letter and spirit of the Code of Conduct. Remediates control issues in a timely and sustainable manner Participate in or lead special projects as is required Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Demonstrate a sound knowledge of secured lending in various North American, European and Asia-Pacific jurisdictions Demonstrate a strong understanding of; capital structures; risk rating methodology, Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements, borrowing base modelling, valuing collateral via field examination and appraisals, loan covenants and asset based lending credit and security documentation Focus on integrity, attention to detail, honed presentation skills and a team player Confidence and presence; have an opinion, ask questions, take ownership and “Think like an owner
