Orion Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer on behalf of our Client, a successful Inverness-based engineering firm providing a wide range of M&E services across the UK
This is a full-time, permanent position and will involve the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across both commercial and residential projects throughout Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, service, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial properties
* Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to enhance system reliability and lifespan
* Troubleshoot faults and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance
* Comply with all relevant health and safety standards and company procedures
* Provide exceptional customer service and professional advice to clients
* Keep accurate service records and documentation
What We’re Looking For:
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
* F Gas Certification (essential)
* Solid experience in installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on A/C and refrigeration systems
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
