Key Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist
* Set, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines, pillar drills, and lathes.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure components meet specifications.
* Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and verniers to check and maintain quality standards.
* Work with a range of materials including ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals,plastics, and copper.
* Maintain high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and safety at all times.
* Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve technical or machiningissues.
* Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organised.
