We are working exclusively with Mandale Group, an award-winning house builder (UK Property Awards), to recruit a commercially driven, design-oriented Technical Design Manager. This is a pivotal role within their head office team, offering the chance to lead technical delivery and design coordination across a diverse portfolio of projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the design and technical function from concept through to completion.
* Liaise with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions.
* Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning requirements, and company standards.
* Drive value engineering and maintain commercial awareness throughout the design process.
* Manage technical documentation, specifications, and approvals.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all design-related queries.
Ideal Candidate
* Background: Architectural, engineering, or technical/draughtsman experience, ideally gained within a contractor environment.
* Strong understanding of construction processes and technical detailing.
* Commercially astute with the ability to balance design quality and cost efficiency.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, willing to stand your corner on matters that count.
* Proficient in design software and technical documentation.
What’s on Offer
* Competitive salary in the region of £55,000 - £65,000, depending on experience.
