An exciting opportunity to join a secondary school in East Devon as a qualified Maths teacher or ECT. The school seeks a dedicated Maths teacher eager to support students across KS3 to KS5.
The school is located in a beautiful coastal area of Devon. It aims to provide a personalised, inclusive learning environment that values all community members. The headteacher is looking for a candidate who can foster resilience, respect, and emotional management skills in students, helping them succeed academically and socially.
Collaboration with colleagues is essential. You should be confident in planning engaging, creative lessons and building strong relationships with students to empower their learning. Good classroom and behavioural management skills are required.
The typical working hours are 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, with additional responsibilities such as staff meetings outside these hours.
Salary depends on experience and will be pro-rata for part-time roles, to be discussed during the interview.
