Quality Inspector
Are you passionate about quality, excited by problem-solving, and motivated by working in a regulated, fast-paced environment? We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our clients UK Plant Quality team and play a key role in ensuring their products, components, and processes meet the highest standards.
About the Role
In this hands-on and highly collaborative role, you will support the release process for all incoming components and packaging, ensuring compliance with internal specifications and industry standards. You will manage line complaints, issue Certificates of Analysis, and work closely with suppliers to resolve component quality issues.
You will also document and investigate non-conformances, support GMP compliance, and help foster a strong Quality Culture across the site. Working alongside the EU Business Quality and UK Procurement teams, you will influence continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with ISO 22716 and ISO 13485 requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect incoming components and packaging against approved specifications.
Support management of packaging component and finished goods specifications.
Maintain the line complaint system and drive timely follow-up and closure.
Provide Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for product releases.
Report, document, and investigate non-conformances via internal systems.
Track and support resolution of component quality issues with vendors.
Collaborate closely with the EU Business Quality Team and UK Procurement.
Ensure adherence to ISO 22716, ISO 13485, and site GMP standards.
Promote and support a strong Quality Culture within the UK Plant.About You
Essential:
Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role within a regulated industry.
Education in a science or engineering field.
Strong computer literacy, especially across Microsoft systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to plan, prioritise, and use initiative.
Excellent communication skills-verbal, written, and influential.
Able to build strong cross-functional relationships and respond positively to change.Desirable:
Working knowledge of ISO 22716 and ISO 13485.
Green Belt certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).This is a temporary role initially for 6 months. You will be working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday and due to the location you will need to drive and have your own transport.
