The Role
* Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing external sales team by setting clear objectives, offering regular performance feedback, and fostering a results-driven culture.
* Strategy Execution: Develop and implement the SCG Group Service Strategy, aligning both short-term initiatives and mid-term objectives with organizational goals.
* Market Engagement: Collaborate proactively with Management and Sales teams to assess and address evolving local market needs.
* Customer Acquisition & Retention: Support the Sales team in acquiring new customers, while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships to maximize customer satisfaction and long-term value.
* Stakeholder Management: Engagement with internal and external stakeholders at all management levels
* Gathering information and documentation for sales and order forecasts, competitor analysis, customer trends and market prices
* Industry Representation: Represent the company at key trade fairs and industry exhibitions to enhance visibility and build strategic partnerships.
* CRM Administration: Maintain and optimize Salesforce to ensure accurate tracking of sales activities and pipeline management.
* Travel & Field Support: Undertake extensive travel across Europe to drive and support service sales initiatives, ensuring strong presence and support in key markets.
Your Background
* Experience with service and end user business
* Minimum 5 years Sales experience within in mechanical industry.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly resolve challenges and support the team’s success.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse sales data, identify trends, and adapt strategies accordingly.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate a team effectively.
* Proven experience in a team leadership role within a sales or manufacturing environment
* Experience with managing a distributed sales team is a distinct advantage
* Good command of English, any additional European language is an advantage
