The role
As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the wider team, structural design projects and ensuring technical excellence. You’ll work closely with architects, clients, and other consultants to deliver creative and efficient engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Key responsibilities
Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept to completion
Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
Collaborate with architects and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations
Oversee project budgets, timelines, and quality assurance
Contribute to business development and client relationship management
About you
Chartered Engineer status (CEng, MIStructE or equivalent)
Extensive experience in structural design and project delivery
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
A passion for innovation, sustainability, and design excellence
