* Adhere to Oakshire Environmental's quality assurance and health and safety procedures.
Role Competencies and Experience:
* An appropriate earth science/environmental science-based degree.
* A postgraduate qualification in a related science would be advantageous.
* Experience in using GIS (QGIS in particular)

* Willingness to handle client enquiries over the telephone and via email and undertake regular consultation with regulatory bodies.
* Experience in technical report writing.
* Enthusiastic and willing, with a strong team player attitude.
* Good administration and organisation skills to coordinate your own time.
* Hold a current driving license and be prepared to drive for business purposes on occasion.
* Work in the office/from home and remotely when required.
Working Style
* Hybrid: Mostly remote, with office days and site visits as needed
* Flexible start dates, but we're keen to get going soon
* Trial period to ensure mutual fit
Salary & Progression
We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 – £40,000 per year, depending on experience and technical capability. If you've previously written flood risk assessments, contamination reports, or SuDS strategies, we'll recognise that with a higher starting salary.
For those newer to the field, we're happy to provide training—provided you have a strong academic foundation in environmental science and a genuine interest in consultancy work.
As we grow, there will be opportunities to take on more responsibility and progress within the business. We're committed to rewarding initiative, technical excellence, and client-focused work.
