A Buyer is required for a leading manufacturer based in Eye, which holds an international reputation for its excellent products and has been trading for over 60 years. Due to continued company growth, the company is looking to expand its procurement team, where you will play an integral role in helping the company meet its future goals.
The successful candidate will need experience working as part of a procurement team, supporting the procurement of goods and services. Candidates from any industry can apply, as training will be provided. Experience working with ERP systems for purchasing and inventory management is required.
The Buyer will join a team of two senior buyers responsible for managing quality, cost, delivery, and inventory levels effectively. This involves developing and maintaining relationships with supply chain partners and conducting reviews as needed.
Buyer Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships within the ERP system to meet company requirements.
- Maintain the company's approved supplier database and conduct reviews when necessary.
- Manage stock control systems.
- Investigate non-conformances as required.
- Ensure timely delivery from suppliers.
- Negotiate commercially with new suppliers; training and support will be provided.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working in a procurement team.
- Experience with ERP systems.
