Regional Quality Manager
Location: Glasgow, Scotland (with regional travel)
Package: £60,000 - £70,000 + car or car allowance + benefits
We’re working with a well-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor to appoint a Regional Quality Manager for their operations in Scotland. This is a senior role focused on ensuring robust quality management across a varied project portfolio and driving continuous improvement across the region.
The position requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of quality systems, and the ability to influence teams and stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in promoting smarter working practices, improving efficiency, and supporting the successful delivery of complex projects.
Key responsibilities:
* Leading regional quality planning, assurance and audit activity
* Supporting project mobilisation with Quality Readiness Reviews
* Ensuring compliance with the company’s BMS
* Driving performance improvement through data analysis and coaching
* Supporting training, awareness, and change initiatives
* Collaborating with internal teams and clients on quality matters
* Supporting bid and tender activity with relevant quality inputs
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in a quality management role within rail, highways or civils
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems
* Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001:2015)
* Familiar with core quality tools (5 Whys, 8D, FMEA, APQP)
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Comfortable working independently across a regional remit
